Tom Morgan-Jones is a professional illustrator, author, events artist and inky hand-letterist. Tom has illustrated over 75 books and series for children including his own picture book, and has worked with many amazing clients to create illustrated educational resources, guides, maps and more. When he's not at his ink-splattered desk in Edinburgh, Tom can be found drawing at events and festivals, running workshops and courses and visiting schools and hospitals. He loves encouraging children and young people to build confidence in mark-making and storytelling through drawing. Tom is always excited by new challenges so please do get in touch if you would like to work with him, buy a picture you like or commission him to draw anything in the world. For book commissions please get in touch with Tom's agent Lindsey Fraser at Fraser Ross Associates - A literacy Agency and Consultancy.

Tom loves splashing ink about and drawing with his dip pen. It's like using an old feather quill. If you would like to give it a go yourself, Tom drew a step-by-step guide called 'How to make a Quill Pen' for the Guardian for the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare's death. Click on the image below to create a quill ready to make your own inky mess - Tom can't think of anything better. You can also find out about 'The Boy and the Globe', a book all about the Bard by Tony Bradman and illustrated by Tom.
